“LIBERTÉ, ÉGALITÉ, FRATERNITÉ”
Dear readers,
Just a few words today in memory of all the people who fell victim in the Paris attacks of 13 November 2015…
Iain and Margaret sent us a very moving message on this sad occasion:
“Our hearts and minds are with the people of France today, a country
and a people committed to secularisn, equality and compassion.
In sorrow, we hope for their safety.”
Douglas McLellan, Chairman, Scottish Secular Society.
Dear Friends, we are just beginning to learn of the appalling crimes that were committed in Paris yesterday evening, and struggling to understand all that has happened.
We think of you all, and hope that you do not have personal friends among the hundreds so cruelly murdered. We have no words to express the depth of our feelings.
It is probably best to be silent, and to mourn.
With love.
Margaret, Iain.

Many thanks to our very dear friends from Scotland and Quebec and to all people who are sharing our sorrow.
Mairiuna & Jean-Claude in the name of the whole team of Scotiana.
“The victims of this outrage were ordinary people simply enjoying their lives,
and this could have happened in any city in the world.
All of the people of Paris are in our thoughts and prayers.”
